Missing Person Safely Located by Mandrem Police

Mandrem Police successfully traced Mr. Pradeep B. Maji, 47, who was reported missing by his brother, Mr. Mahesh B. Maji of Khalchawada Arambol Pernem, Goa, on May 13, 2024. Mr. Pradeep Maji had disappeared from his residence, departing on his scooter. Following the report, police promptly initiated a search within the jurisdiction and alerted neighboring police stations and border check posts, circulating his photographs and details.

Multiple teams were deployed to hospitals, bus stands, and railway stations, while the missing person’s mobile location was continuously monitored, albeit with the phone switched off. Family members later informed the police that Mr. Pradeep Maji had crossed Amboli Ghat. Consequently, a team led by PSI Anil Polekar, along with family members, proceeded to the area.

Reliable sources then reported sightings of Mr. Pradeep Maji at Ganpatipule, Maharashtra. PSI Anil Polekar and his team proceeded to Ganpatipule and located Mr. Maji at Yashodhan Hotel. He was safely returned to Arambol, Goa.

In his statement, Mr. Pradeep Maji explained that he had left home to visit various temples in Maharashtra without informing his family. He was subsequently reunited with his wife and family members. The operation was overseen by SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi.
