The long-pending demand for a sewerage line at the Goa Rehabilitation Colony in Sada, Mormugao, has finally been fulfilled. Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar inaugurated the new sewerage system and assured residents that their water supply issues would also be resolved soon, with plans to replace existing water tanks with higher-capacity ones. Amonkar further addressed the residents’ concerns about home ownership, stating that efforts are underway to transfer the properties from the Goa Rehabilitation Board to individual residents. The MLA expressed his commitment to improving living conditions in the colony.
