Panaji, February 7, 2025: The Department of Home has directed all private security agencies operating in Goa to register online through the official portal www.psara.gov.in.
Operating without registration is a punishable offense under the law, carrying a fine of ₹25,000, imprisonment of up to one year, or both.
The department has also advised all establishments in Goa to hire security guards only from agencies holding a valid PSARA 2005 license issued by the state. The list of registered agencies can be accessed on the same portal under the “Know Your Agency” section.
