It is the loyalty, dedication, hardwork, commitment of the grassroot workers which has helped Congress Party to successfully overcome political turbulences in the past. Congress will continue to set narrative for betterment of Goa and Goans, stated Congress General Secretary Moreno Rebelo.
No one can take space of Congress Party. We have contributed right from Freedom Struggle to taking India into 21st Century. All our visionary leaders have contributed in Nation Building. Congress will continue to give its contribution in shaping our beautiful Goa, Moreno Rebelo said.
Sometimes, due to some reasons adjustments are made. That does not mean that we put to rest Ideology of the Party. Values of Congress Party keep driving Grassroot Workers like me, stated Moreno Rebelo.
Many leaders in Goa took Lessons of Politics from Congress Party. Today, they are in various other Parties. Our Workers have remained committed to Congress Ideology and that is the reason why Capt. Viriato Fernandes could get sizeable votes in the Constituencies represented by Defectors, said Moreno Rebelo.
I appeal to all the Congress Workers to remain United and Strong. Congress Party has a bright future ahead. INDIA Block is led by Congress Party at national level and sentiments and emotions of Congress Workers will always be respected by our National and State Leaders, claimed Moreno Rebelo.
Some vested interest elements are trying to downsize the Congress Party by making irresponsible statements. They should not try to antagonise the Congress Party to fulfill their political agenda. “Alliance Dharma” needs to be followed by all by respecting strengths and weaknesses of each other, said Moreno Rebelo.
