The Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Goa, has announced the results of a special enforcement drive targeting traffic violators. Conducted from May 22 to May 25, 2024, between 18:00 and 22:30 hours, the operation led to the booking of 879 violators, with a focus on nighttime infractions.

Improper Headlights: 147 cases
Dazzling Lights: 133 cases

Improper Number Plates: 61 cases
Other Violations: 177 cases
Overall, a total of 70 drunken driving incidents were recorded during the four-day period, and the comprehensive operation resulted in 4,885 violations being booked. Superintendent Rahul Gupta, IPS, emphasized the department’s commitment to enhancing road safety and reducing nighttime traffic offenses in Goa.
