18 December 2024: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar has strongly condemned the BJP for allegedly misusing police machinery to suppress dissent and hide the truth. Speaking on the occasion of the Raj Bhavan March, Patkar highlighted allegations of large-scale corruption, fraud, and deceit involving Gautam Adani and his associates, which have been noted in indictments by the U.S. Department of Justice.
He further accused the BJP of shielding its “crony capitalist friends” and blocking vital truths from reaching the public. Patkar assured that the Congress party will not remain silent and will continue to fight for justice, accountability, and the interests of the people of Goa.
