Goa | 20 February 2023: Adda52.com–India’s online poker destination, is all set to welcome the 9 finalists of the Adda52 Champions Leaderboard (ACL) 2.0 in Goa. The year-long leaderboard, which concluded on 31st Dec 2022, will witness an action-packed poker finale with 9 players competing for the winner’s title on 19th Feb 2023 at Deltin Royale, Goa. The 9 finalists hail from Delhi, Kanpur, Haryana, Pune and Goa. The winner will be crowned with the title of Adda52 Game Ambassador with a contract worth INR 20 lakhs. From Goa, poker players Ram Kakkar, and Mohsin Shaikh qualified for the final leg.
The first person from Goa to qualify for the finale is Ram Kakkar, a 39-year-old lawyer. He started playing poker 9 years ago. While talking about his poker journey, Ram Kakkar shared, “By playing poker all these years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have had some memorable experiences. ACL is a novel concept and I’m very excited to be a part of its second season. Hopefully, we will all be able to collectively express the essence of the beautiful game that is poker, to all the viewers.”
Mohsin Shaikh, a 32-year-old, Professional Poker Player, is also warming up for the ACL 2.0 final table. He began playing poker 5 years ago. Since then, there has been no looking back for him and he has been consistently improving his game. Expressing his excitement for ACL 2.0, Mohsin Shaikh said, “Poker is a competitive game which requires a lot of skill and talent. While you are at the table, you have to be conscious not just about your next move, but also smart to analyze the next decision taken by competitors at the table. The crowning of the ACL 2022 winner will be done by the ACL 2021 winner Arun Sriram. Besides that, the next edition of Adda52 Champions Leaderboard, i.e. ACL 3.0 has already commenced on 1st February 2023 and will go on till 31st December 2023. The players will have the chance to participate and showcase their talent to win from the prize pool of INR 1.7 crore GTD, including a contract of INR 20 Lakhs for the winner, who will be crowned with the title of ‘Adda52 Game Ambassador’.
