Panaji – Congress Media Cell Chairman Amarnath Panjikar has slammed BJP President Sadanand Tanawade, defector MLA Sankalp Amonkar, and BJP spokesperson Giriraj Pai Vernekar, demanding they apologize for their unfounded accusations against religious leaders. Panjikar’s reaction follows recent statements by Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho and Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar.
Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho and Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar recently stated that polarization was not the reason for the defeat of the BJP South Goa candidate. Panjikar condemned the BJP leadership for “spreading venom” and highlighted the contrasting lifestyles of Godinho and Dhavalikar, which add weight to their comments. Godinho is known for his extensive friend circle, while Dhavalikar, who adheres to a vegetarian lifestyle, stays away from non-vegetarian influences.
Panjikar also questioned why Prime Minister Narendra Modi is listed under the “Margadarshak Mandal” on the official BJP website, suggesting that the BJP has accepted Modi’s inability to perform. He claimed that while the BJP has only recently realized this, the public has known for much longer.
“I congratulate Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho and Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar for exposing BJP President Sadanand Tanawade, defector MLA Sankalp Amonkar, and spokesperson Giriraj Pai Vernekar,” Panjikar stated.
