Margao – Finally Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant accepts harsh reality of “Har Ghar Graduate”. There are enough Graduates sitting at Home due to failure of BJP Government to create Employment Opportunities & provide Jobs to them. Goa needs an Action Plan for “Har Office Graduate”, stated Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
Reacting sharply to the statement made by Chief Minister of having a Dream of having a Graduate in every Home, Leader of Opposition slammed BJP Government for its failure to control rising Unemployment Rate in Goa.
NITI Aayog headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already Certified that Goa ranks first at the national level in Unemployment Rate. CMIE Reports have also exposed Unemployment in Goa, pointed Yuri Alemao.
BJP Government spent almost 4 crores on Mega Job Fair where almost 22000 Unemployed Youths registered. Government finally admitted that hardly 500 Youths were given jobs that too on contract or temporary basis, revealed Yuri Alemao.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant announced CM Apprenticeship Programme which encourages School Dropouts. It is the duty of the Government to encourage Students to go for higher education, said Yuri Alemao.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant should also introspect on the Fall in Ranking of Goa University in last few years. I once again urge him to implement “Goa Vision 2035 Document” prepared by Golden Jubilee Committee headed by Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar which was constituted by Congress Government in 2011. This will help in solving Unemployment in Goa, stated Yuri Alemao.
