Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has directed the state police’s cyber crime cell to take action against individuals on Instagram who defame Goa and its “religious faith” through their content. Vasco MLA Daji Salkar raised concerns about false information being spread by some social media users visiting Goa, demanding the blocking of such accounts. In response, the CM assured that measures will be taken to address the issue and protect the state’s reputation.
